KAYCEE BANKERT OF SCHREINER UNIVERSITY, a senior from Missouri City, Texas, has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for competitions through October 11.

Bankert posted the Mountaineers best finish, placing 35th among 90 players with a 54-hole total of 243. She shot a second-nine score of 35 and turned in a 79 to tie sophomore Piper Gleadhill for team honors in the final round. 

The Schreiner women shot a final round 327, one shot higher than Monday's, and fell back one spot to finish 12th at the prestigious 18-team Division III Golfweek Fall Invitational which was contested over the Baytowne course at the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort.
