SEANA STOIA OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a senior forward from Tulsa, Okla., has been named the SCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played through Sunday, December 11th.
Stoia continued her strong start to the season with her fourth straight double-double to lead Dallas to a 57-46 win over Dallas Christian. This is the sixth win in a row for the Crusaders.
Stoia recorded 23 points and 13 rebounds in the game, producing her second highest scoring output and tying a team high in rebounds. Her game-high performance was fueled by 58.3% shooting from the field and a 9-10 performance from the charity stripe.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore guard Jasmine Morris of Centenary College had a great week as she became the fastest Ladies' player to reach 500 points for her career. This weekend, she averaged 17.5 points, four rebounds and 1.5 assists in two games.
