TAYLOR CURTIS OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a senior outfielder from Bryan, Texas, has been named the SCAC Softball Offensive Player of the Week for games played through Sunday, April 22.
Curtis hit .615 last week while slugging .692 to lead the Pirates to a 3-1 series win over the University of Dallas.
She recorded one double for the week and scored three runs, while driving in six.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman Alicia Enciso of the University of Dallas notched 11 hits over six games for the Crusaders this past week, with at least one coming in five of the matchups. Sophomore second baseman Madisyn Cates of Texas Lutheran University hit .600 in the three-game sweep of Centenary. She had at least one hit in every game.
