BAILEE ARELLANO OF SCHREINER UNIVERSITY, a freshman outfielder from Corpus Christi, Texas, has been named the SCAC Softball Offensive Player of the Week for games played through Sunday, February 26th.
Arellano helped the Mountaineers to a 2-2 week, posting a .429 batting average while scoring two runs and recording 10 RBI.
Arellano posted a walk-off grand slam in the Mountaineers 8-6 win over Southwestern Assemblies of God.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman outfielder Kaitlynn Copher of Southwestern University posted a .571 batting average, going 4-for-7 from the plate with a homerun, a triple and six RBI.
