AMELIA FUCHS OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore infielder from Sugar Land, Texas, has been named the SCAC Softball Offensive Player of the Week for games played through Sunday, February 12th.
Fuchs played in two of the Pirates four games over the weekend, helping SU to a 1-1 record.
In the game against Hardin-Simmons, Fuchs hit a solo home run to lead off a four run inning for the Pirates.
Over the weekend, Fuch hit .400, while recording a 1.000 slugging percentage.
