RONNI FERRIS OF BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHERN, a sophomore right-hander from Cincinnati, Ohio, has been selected the SCAC Softball Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 22 through Sunday, March 28.

 Ferris became on the second pitcher in BSC history to throw a perfect game this week, recording the program's third perfect game, and first since February 12, 2005. In that game, she struck out 10 of the 15 batters she faced.

Overall, Ferris appeared in three games of the four-game series, with two complete games and two shutouts. She recorded 17 total strikeouts in 15.2 innings of work and gave up only two hits and one run (not earned) for a 0.00 ERA and a .042 opponent batting average.
