MICHAEL ERICKSON OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a freshman from Sugar Land, Texas, has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets run through Sunday, October 19th.

Erickson led Trinity to a team victory at the Concordia Texas Invitational on Saturday, finishing third overall individually.

Erickson finished just 19 seconds behind teammate Taylor Piske, marking his closest finish to the team lead this season. The two Tiger runners led all collegiate runners, finishing behind only an unattached competitor. Erickson also improved his 5K time at the UTSA/Ricardo Romo Classic by 32 seconds.
