DANIEL POOLE OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a junior from Shreveport, La., has been selected the SCAC Men's Field Athlete-of-the-Week for meets conducted from Monday, March 4 through Sunday, March 10.

Poole was the only D-III male athlete to score in the Javelin at the Tarleton State Invitational (NCAA D-II). He placed third of 16 competitors with a throw of 48.76, which is a season-best throw.

Poole is currently ranked first in the Javelin on the SCAC Performance List.
