CODY TAYLOR OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Medina, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men's Field Athlete-of-the-Week for meets conducted from Monday, February 25 through Sunday, March 3.
Taylor placed seventh out of 14 vaulters
at the University of the Incarnate Word Track and Field meet on
Friday March 1-2.
Vaulting into a strong headwind, Taylor managed to
clear 3.99 meters and was first among NCAA D-III athletes at the
meet. His performance places him at the top of the SCAC leaderboard
in the event as of 3/4/13.
