DANIEL SARMAN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Austin, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week for performances during the meets swam Monday, January 13 to Sunday, January 19.
Sarman had a phenomenal meet this past weekend, leading the Trinity men to a win over Southwestern. He started it off with a 24.2 leadoff back split for the Tigers' medley relay. He went on to snag a pair of golds individually in the 200 free (1:44.0) and 200 back (1:52.7).
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Cade Thumann of Colorado College won both the 200 freestyle (1:46.98) and the 100 back (54.76) at the CC Classic - a five team invitational. He also anchored the winning 800 free relay at 1:47.01, and posted a third in 200 fly (2:07.69) and a second in the 500 free (4:57.69).
