BEN GROSSMAN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior forward from Encinitas, Calif., has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Co-Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, November 2 through Sunday, November 8.
Grossman led the Tigers to a pair of SCAC wins at home last weekend, finishing off the 2009 regular season schedule.
Grossman scored both of Trinity’s goals in Friday’s 2-1 win over Rhodes, then added an insurance goal in the 2-0 shutout of Hendrix on Sunday.
For the season, Grossman leads the team with 14 goals scored and six game-winning goals. He is also tied for second on the team with four assists to give him a team-best 32 points.
