RICHARD HINTON OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a senior forward from Fort Wayne, Ind., has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 7 through Sunday, September 13.

Hinton continued his scoring ways over the weekend as Centre claimed the title of the 20th Annual Bob Allen Classic hosted by Centre College in Danville, KY. In an important game against the Quakers of Wilmington College, Hinton scored the game-tying goal early in the 2nd half en route to a 6-3 win for the Colonels.

Then, in the tournament final on Saturday night, Hinton had both a goal and an assist as Centre downed the talented Berry College 5-4 in OT. For the week Hinton recorded three goals, two assists and eight points.
