CHASE MURPHY OF COLORADO
COLLEGE, a sophomore goaltender from
Cohasset, Mass., has been selected the SCAC Men's Lacrosse
Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March
31st through Sunday, April 6th.
Murphy made 11 saves as Colorado
College rallied for a 10-6 victory over Division II Adams State
University on Wednesday night.
Murphy, who recorded double-digit saves for
the fifth time this season and the 12th time in his career, helped
the Tigers deny ASU on eight of nine man-down
situations.
Murphy won his fourth consecutive game
to improve to 6-4. He lowered his goal-against average to 7.65 and
improved his saves percentage to .586
