KALEN VOS OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Weslaco, Texas, has been named SCAC Men's Golfer-of-the-Week for tournaments played from Wednesday, March 13 through Tuesday, March 19.
Vos shot 74-78-76 (228) at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational played at
Pine Lakes Golf Club March 15-17th. He finished tied for 29 out of
the 150-player field.
Vos recorded 38 pars over the 54 holes, tying him for the
fourth-most in the tournament.
He led Trinity to a tie for 14th out of the 30 teams competing at
the prestigious tournament.
