KALEN VOS OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Weslaco, Texas, has been named SCAC Men's Golfer-of-the-Week for tournaments played through Tuesday, February 26.

Vos shot a 74 and tied for fifth among 49 golfers at the Schreiner Spring Shootout at Comanche Trace Golf Club, and led Trinity to a third-place team finish.

The event was shortened to 18 holes because of unplayable conditions due to wind.
