ERIC QUINN OF OGLETHORPE UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Norcross, Ga., has been named SCAC Men's Golfer-of-the-Week for tournaments played through Tuesday, March 1.

Quinn won the Wynlakes Wynternationals hosted by Huntingdon College on February 21st and 22nd. Quinn took the first round lead with a windblown 75 and then fired a closing two under 70 on the final round to win the Individual tournament by two strokes. His two day total of 145 won the tournament by two and led Oglethorpe to a two stroke come from behind victory over Huntingdon. Oglethorpe was down eight strokes going into the final round and was still down by five strokes with Quinn and his playing opponent the only two players on the course. Quinn turned the tables for Oglethorpe with a seven stroke victory in the final match of the day over Huntingdon’s number one player to give OU a two stroke victory.
