GRANT CONLIFFE
OF CENTRE COLLEGE has been named the SCAC Football
Co-Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday,
September 6.
Conliffe, a 6-4, 217-pound junior quarterback from
Louisville, Ky., led a Colonel offense that scored the most points
in a single game since 2004.
He completed 25 of 34 (73.5 percent) passes for 262 yards and four
touchdowns in a 46-22 win over Hanover (Ind.). Conliffe added a
75-yard score in the fourth quarter.
