PAT HIRSCHBERG
OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior outfielder from
Parker, Colo., has been named the SCAC Offensive Baseball
Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, April 1 through Sunday,
April 7.
Hirschberg hit .500 (3-6) in two games last
weekend, as the Tigers swept a road SCAC series at Austin
College.
Hirschberg also scored two runs and drove in three more, as well as drawing two walks to post an on-base percentage of .667 for the weekend. He was 2-3 with two runs and three RBI in the opening game of the series.
For the season, Hirschberg leads the team
with a .407 batting average, collecting 50 hits in 123
at-bats. He has also driven in a team-high 40 RBI and scored
30 runs – good for second on the team.
Hirschberg is also the team leader in doubles,
triples, and home runs.
