MICHELLE
CHELEMER OF OGLETHORPE UNIVERSITY,
a senior from Raleigh, N.C., has been selected the SCAC
Character & Community Female Student-Athlete-of-the-Week for
the week ending January 30, 2011.
Chelemer, a runner for Coach Bob
Unger’s women’s cross country program, is also a bright
and involved student on Oglethorpe’s campus.
A senior, she has been named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll all
four years. In addition to her high
GPA, Chelemer is an active member of the
Oglethorpe Student Government Association, Outlet (Students Against
Homophobia) and OU Radio. She is also a member of the Sigma Sigma
Sigma sorority.
