
Megan Koch of Colorado College, a freshman from Highlands Ranch, Colo., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for her performance at the Metro State Road Runners Invitational.
Koch placed 41st out of 134 participants after finishing the 6K course in 24:03.8. The Tigers were the only Div. III team in attendance as the meet was mostly comprised of programs from the Div. II level.
Other Outstanding Performances:
Trinity sophomore Laurel Daughtrey was the Tigers top runner at the University of Incarnate Word Invitational. Daughtrey shaved off 1:27 off her time from last season after completing the 6K in 25:11.4. Dallas reshman Anna Wilgenbusch turned in a second-place performance at the University of the Ozarks Invitational by finishing the 5K in 20:49 to lead the Crusaders to thier first team title of the season.
