Molly McCullough of Trinity University, a senior from Portland, Ore., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for her performance at Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival.

McCullough finished 15th out of 424 runners at the 5k race. The meet was largely comprised of Div. I and Div. II competition, and her performance was the best by a Tiger ever at this meet. In muddy conditions she improved greatly upon her time from last year, where she came in 33rd place out of 382 runners. While her timethis year was similar to last, she came in kept up with runners from Arkansas who is ranked ninth national at the Div. I level.
