Anna Wilgenbusch of University of Dallas, a freshman from St. Paul, Minn., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for her performance at the TLU Bulldog Invitational.
Wilgenbusch finished third overall at the TLU Bulldog Invite in extremely muddy and wet conditions. In just her second collegiate race, Wilgenbusch crossed the line of the 5k course in 21:09 to lead Dallas to a second-place finish.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Johnson & Wales junior Rachel Seligson completed the Missouri Southern Stampede in 21:51.3. In the 5k, Seligson shaved 1:30 off her personal best and placed 107th overall.
