BRIAN HINES OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore forward from Dallas, Texas, has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Co-Offensive Players-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 3 through Sunday, October 9.
Hines scored four goals in two SCAC wins over
the weekend, highlighted by a three-goal performance in
Friday’s win over Rhodes. Hines scored
Trinity’s first hat trick of the season – the second of
his career – on Friday night. Two of his goals came in a span
of just 26 seconds late in the first half. He scored again just
2:21 into the second period to make it 5-1 Trinity. His second of
three goals was the eventual game-winner. He also scored in the
30th minute against Millsaps to put the Tigers up 2-0 at halftime
of that game.
