CHRIS MELTON OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, a senior forward from Sherman, Texas, has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 5 through Sunday, September 11.

Melton continued his torrid start to the season, scoring five goals in three games last week for the ’Roos to bring his season total to seven in only five games. Melton scored once against Howard Payne and then scored two against both UMHB and Concordia, with all four of those goals coming in the second half to either force overtime or give his team the win. Melton had 14 shots on the week, putting nine on goal.
