LILLY DUARTE OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY , a junior from Streetman, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Saturday, October 13.
Duarte ran a personal best of 18:53.72 for 5K at the Concordia Invitational on Saturday October 13. Duarte placed fifth overall (third among non-Division I and first of Division III competitors) in the event. She led the Pirate Women to a 4th place finish among Non-D-I teams in the event.
