DANIELLE BOCHAT OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a senior outside hitter from Boerne, Texas, has been named SCAC Volleyball Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 13 through Sunday, October 19.

Bochat led Southwestern to a 4-0 record last week, including a 4-0 mark in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play. The Pirates stretched their win streak to 12 matches and took over first place in the SCAC standings.

Bochat led the team in kills (3.58 per game), and had a 0.311   hitting percentage. She also contributed defensively for the Pirates from her outside hitter position as she tallied 31 total digs (2.58 per game) and six blocks.
