EMILY PERKINS
OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior middle blocker from
Plano, Texas has been named SCAC Volleyball Player-of-the-Week for
matches played from Monday, October 12 through Sunday, October
18.
Perkins averaged 3.5 kills, 2.7 digs and 0.83
blocks per set, and posted a .402 hitting percentage while leading
No. 14 Colorado College to four victories, including a four-set win
over No. 15 Trinity.
Against Trinity, Perkins hit .390 and had a match-high 19 kills and completed her 12th double-double of the season and 43rd of her career with 15 digs. She also had a hand in three blocked shots.
Perkins had six kills on seven attacks while playing just two sets against Sewanee.
