LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the 2025 Division III All-America teams on Tuesday, and three Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference players were recognized.
University of St. Thomas' Alexis Bodunrin and Carly Lange, along with Colorado College's Brooke Brilliant, each secured Honorable Mention recognition. All three earned First Team All-Region Honors in an announcement made last week.
Bodunrin, a junior outside hitter from Tomball, Texas, was named SCAC Player-of-the-Year after pacing the league in kills per set (4.08), points per set (4.5) and finishing second with 432 total kills. She also earned All-Tournament team honors at this year's SCAC Tournament Championship.
Lange, a junior libero from Bellville, Texas, was named the SCAC Backrow-Player-of-the-Year after leading the league in digs (668) and digs per set (6.19). She was ranked third in all of Division III in both categories at the conclusion of the conference tournament.
Bodunrin and Lange both led St. Thomas to the number one overall seed in last weekend’s SCAC Tournament and an SCAC Gold Division Co-Regular Season Championship.
Brilliant, a junior middle blocker from San Rafael, California, earned First-Team All-SCAC honors this year and helped lead the Tigers to the SCAC Tournament Championship and back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2021. She finished second in the SCAC in hitting percentage (.350) and was fifth in kills (326).
