CAMILLE WEAVER OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore from Bend, Ore., has been named the SCAC Field Athlete of the Week for meets held through Sunday, March 31st.
Weaver was outstanding at the CSU-Pueblo Spank Blassing meet, winning the high jump (1.60m) and finished fifth in the triple jump (11.20m). Her mark in the high jump is currently second in the SCAC.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Erin Toro of Southwestern set a new school record in the discus, finishing second at the Texas Quad meet with a toss of 37.52 meters. She also placed second in the shot put with a mark of 10.72 meters. Senior Stella Affognon of Trinity threw a personal best in the discus at the Texas Bobcat Invite, setting a school record with a mark of 41.79 meters.
