KELSEY OELZE OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior from Phoenix, Ariz., has been selected the SCAC Women's Field Athlete-of-the-Week for meets conducted from Monday, March 11 hrough Sunday March 17.
Oelze set three personal records this past
weekend at the Catcus Cup hosted by Texas
A&M-Kingsville.
Competing against mostly Division II student-athletes,
Oelze set personal-best marks in the women's shot
put (10.91 meters), discus throw (31.32 meters), and posted an
overall third-place finish with a PR javelin throw of 37.22
meters.
