Morgan Reyna, Trinity University, Swimmer of the Week (Week 5)

MORGAN REYNA OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Houston, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week for performances during meets swam Monday, November 4 to Sunday, November 10.

Reyna won both the 200 free - in an impressive time of 1:57.57 - and the 100 fly in 59.46 in a double dual meet against Springfield and MIT. She went on to anchor the winning 200 free relay in a time of 24:53.

Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
First-year Rosie Wade of University of the Ozarks finished first in the 500 free in a new team record of 5:28.78, and ancored a come-from-behind effort for the Eagles as they set a new school record and won the 200 free relay. Wade swam a 25.37 anchor leg. She also posted a second-place finish in the 1650. First-year Becca Tobias of Austin College took home three individual wins in the 'Roos dual-meet victory against University of Ozarks this past Saturday. She won the 200 IM (2:25.94), the 100 fly (1:05.36), and the 100 breast (1:19.29).
