MARY CARDONE OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a junior goalkeeper from San Antonio, Texas has been selected the SCAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played the week of Tuesday, September 4th to Sunday, September 9th.
Cardone collected three saves in net for Southwestern against UT-Tyler last Friday night. Cardone has made all three starts in goal this season for Southwestern corralling 23 saves in just over 280 minutes of action.
