Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman
forward Kyli Scott of Austin
College tallied a fantastic goal in
a 2-1 victory over Schreiner, heading home a corner kick two
minutes into the game to put Austin College on top early. Scott was
a threat all weekend, totaling four shots, including two shots on
goal. Freshman defender Mackenzie Millican
of Southwestern scored the game
winning goal against Centenary to lead the Pirates to a 1-1 weekend
in conference play. Junior forward Sioned Kirkpatrick of
Texas Lutheran played a role in both of
the Bulldogs' goals over the weekend as she got the week started by
scoring the game-winning goal in TLU's 1-0 win over Austin
College. Junior midfielder Maggie Olvera of
Trinity led #3 Trinity's offense in a
pair of SCAC victories over the past week, winning a road game at
Southwestern, then capping things off with a home win over
