MAEGAN IDROGO
OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a freshman forward
from McAllen, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Soccer
Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Friday,
September 9 through Sunday, September 15.
Idrogo was an offensive terror for the
Bulldogs and was a big reason for their two-game sweep of the
weekend with a 4-0 win over Schreiner and a 5-3 win over
Huston-Tillotson. In the two games, Idrogo led the team with four
goals and nine points. She took six shots total with all of them
being on goal.
In the SCAC opener against Schreiner, a 4-0 shutout for TLU, Idrogo came off the bench and tallied a goal and an assists on three shots. In Sunday's 5-3 shootout win over Huston-Tillotson, Idrogo notched her first hat trick, scoring three goals on three shots. Over the last three matches, Idrogo has scored five goals and tallied 11 points.
