Kimberly Polasek, Trinity University, Women's Soccer (Defensive)

KIMBERLY POLASEK OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a first-year midfielder from Houston, Texas has been selected as the SCAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 22 through Sunday, October 28.

Polasek led Trinity to its 10th shutout of the season, finishing off the regular season schedule with a win over Southwestern.

Polasek not only helped anchor a defense that gave up just one shot in the game, but she also contributed with a goal and three assists on offense. She opened the second half with a goal in the 49th minute to put the Tigers up 3-0. Polasek then proceeded to post assists on the next two Tiger scores, adding her last assist on Trinity’s final goal. 

For the season, Polasek has two goals and six assists this season, tying for third on the team in assists. She is one of nine Tiger players to record 10 or more points this year.
