AMY HEBBELER OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a freshman midfielder from Ft. Wright, Ky., has been selected as the SCAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, August 31 through Sunday, September 6.

Hebbeler came off the bench in all three wins for the Colonels during the week to contribute five goals. In the season opener, on the road against Asbury College, Hebbeler posted three shots scoring two before returning home for two matches over the weekend which she added three more goals.

Hebbeler while playing an average of just forty minutes a game still leads the SCAC in a number of different statistical categories early on in the ’09 season including shots (14), goals (5) and points (10).
