EMILY BACHERT OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a sophomore from Bowling Green, Ky., has been named SCAC Women's Golfer-of-the-Week for tournaments played through Tuesday, March 22.

Bachert won the invitational on the women's side as she shot a 230 overall. On the final day of play, Bachert came from being two strokes behind the leader to win the match. Bachert beat Susan Martin the two time Division III Champion from Methodist University by two strokes.

Bachert competed in only her second match of the season, as she had to sit out of the fall season due to a stress fracture in her wrist.
