BETHANYFRONK OF BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHERN, a freshman utility player from Clay, Ala., has been selected the SCAC Softball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, February 20 through Sunday, February 26.

Fronk led BSC at the plate this week, helping the Panthers to three wins to move to 5-0 on the season. She went 5-of-9 (.556) at the plate with a double and three RBI, and had seven total bases and a .778 slugging percentage with only one strikeout as well as a stolen base. Fronk also pitched in all three games, giving up only two hits in eight innings with nine strikeouts and a save. She struck out nine batters while allowing a .077 opponent batting average.
