JENA FRANKS OF BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHERN COLLEGE, a senior infielder from Muscle Shoals, Ala., has been selected the SCAC Softball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 1 through Sunday, March 7.

Franks hit .529 this week with an impressive 18 RBIs in four games. She was 9-of-17 (.529) at the plate with two doubles and four home runs (one in each game) and a 1.353 slugging percentage.

Franks also recorded 23 total bases with a .600 on-base percentage, and was 1-of-1 on stolen bases. In the second game against Sewanee on Friday, Franks' six RBIs tied the single-game record.
