JACKSON, Tenn. – The West Tennessee
Healthcare Sportsplex in Jackson, Tenn., will host the 2012
Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Softball
Championship, April 27-29. Six teams will compete for the
conference title and a berth in the NCAA national
tournament.
All games will be played in Complex D at the Sportsplex, located at
250 BancorpSouth Parkway, and will have tickets available at the
gates. An all-sessions pass will be available for $12, daily passes
will be available for $5 each.

will live video (here) courtesy of the Southwestern
University sports information department. Interviews with
coaches and players will be conducted after each game and linked in
the game recaps.
Last year, DePauw University claimed its third SCAC title in
the last four years. A three-run home run from Haley
Buchanan - her first hit of the tournament - was the
difference as the Tigers earned a 3-2 win over Trinity
University in the championship game.
