SAM MARTINEZ OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a senior from San Antonio, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Saturday, October 13.
Martinez placed 10th overall (second among non-Division I and first among Division III athletes) at the Concordia Invitational 5K on Saturday October 13. Martinez’s time of 16:16.38 led the Pirate men to a 4th place finish among non-D-I schools.
