JOHN KIEFFER OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a sophomore from Dublin, Ohio, has been selected the SCAC Men's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Saturday, September 10.

 Kieffer took top honors in his first collegiate race by winning the Centre Invitational. He toured the extremely challenging 8K course in 26:42 winning the race by more than 15 seconds. 

Kieffer's time was the fastest 8K recorded on the Centre course by a Centre runner since Eric Hack ran his 26:36 at the SCAC championships in 2005. Kieffer led the Centre men to a first place team finish.
