GEORGE
WARREN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior from
Georgetown, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Field
Athlete-of-the-Week for meets through Sunday, February 23rd.
Warren led the Tigers in their opening meet of the outdoor season on Saturday, earning a solid mark at the Trinity Open.
Warren finished second with a successful jump of 2.03 meters in the high jump in his first action in outdoor track this season. Warren equaled the winner of the event in height, but was edged on number of misses for the individual title.
In addition to his strong performance in the high jump, Warren also competed in the 4x400 relay, the discus throw, and the javelin throw in the meet.
