DAVID SPRIEWALD OF HENDRIX COLLEGE, a junior from Marburg, Germany, has been selected the SCAC Men's Field Athlete-of-the-Week for meets conducted through Sunday, April 1.
Spriewald had a 900 point persona record in the
decathlon to score 5,784 points at the Washington (Mo.)
Invitational. His day one included personal records in all five
events.
On day two, Spriewald added personal records in
the discus and pole vault. He currently ranks 11th in the
country.
Spriewald rankd in the top 10 in the SCAC in seven
of the 10 events.

Ryan's
mark in the Dec was over a 400 point PR with a mark of 5,860. He is
currently ranked in the top 5 in the country in the Dec. Ryan's
mark in the high jump ranks him first in the conference, and his
marks in the Javelin, Discus, and Long Jump are in the top
eight.
