ALEXANDER JOSEPH OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a senior from Colleyville, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from Monday, February 24 through Sunday, March 1.
Joseph went 2-0 this weekend from the No. 3 spot, defeating McMurry's Zach Miller 6-1, 6-1 and LeTourneau's Nathan Schmidt 6-1, 6-2.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior Quashi "Ayo" Phillips of St. Thomas was the first Celt to finish singles play when we won his flight four match over UMHB's Alejandro Omana 6-1, 6-0. Philips has a 5-1 record in singles play this season.
