KYLER WOOD OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a junior from Georgeton, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men's Swimmer-of-the-Week for all meets through Sunday, December 8th.
Wood broke two school records over the weekend and earned a pair of NCAA B cuts at the ULAR Christmas Invitational.
Wood grabbed his first mark on Friday in the 100-yard breaststroke earning a fourth place finish. Wood swam to a time of 57.54 which broke the school record he set last season.
The Georgetown, Texas native grabbed his second school record on Saturday with a third place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke on Saturday. The junior finished with a time of 2:06.12 which also broke his own school record set last season and was his second NCAA B cut of the weekend.
