Andrew Ciancone, University of Dallas, Offensive Co-Player of the Week (Week 3)
ANDREW CIANCONE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a freshman midfielder from Houston, Texas has been selected the SCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for matches played from Friday, September 18th through Sunday, September 20th. 

Ciancone boasted his first two goals of his collegiate career in his rookie campaign, each counting towards game-winners for a University of Dallas men's soccer team that went 2-0 in SCAC play this season.

Ciancone logged his first goal in the 81st minute to propel the Crusaders by top-ranked Trinity University, 1-0. It was the first win for the men's soccer program versus the Tigers. On Sunday, the Houston, Texas, native found the spotlight again, getting the final touch on a golden goal to lift UD 1-0 in overtime.

Dallas is off to its best start in league play since joining five years ago at 2-0-1 and are tied for first in the standings. 

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior midfielder Isaac Lopez of Texas Lutheran University led TLU to 2-1 week overall (and to a 2-1 SCAC week) with a goal in the Austin College match and by directing the Bulldogs' offensive attack in all three matches. TLU won 1-0 and 2-0 on the road to improve to 5-1 overall.
