Robert Malone, Colorado College, Offensive Player of the Week (Week 2)
ROBERT MALONE OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a freshman midfielder from Littleton, Colo. has been selected the SCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for matches played from Friday, September 11th through Sunday, September 13th. 

Malone struck for the first three goals of his career during the first half to lead Colorado College to a 3-1 victory over Wartburg College in its final non-conference match of the year on Sunday afternoon at Stewart Field.
Malone became the first Tiger freshman to record a hat trick since Oct. 18, 2009, when Matt Fechter dropped four on Oglethorpe University during a 6-1 victory. Malone leads CC in goals and points. 

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior forward, Barton Holdridge of the University of Dallas was instrumental in the Dallas men's soccer team beginning conference play with a tie, netting the squad's lone goal with 23 seconds of regulation. Freshman Phillip Le of Austin College had a big week for the 'Roos, scoring three goals - including two game winners - and adding an assist as Austin College went 2-1 in three matches. Sophomore defender, Kellen Reid of Trinity University drove home the game-winning goal in overtime on Sunday, lifting the Tigers past UT-Dallas 2-1 to improve to 5-0-0. Schreiner University, Texas Lutheran University, Centenary College and Southwestern University did not submit nominations.
