KELLY
RAPPE’ OF HENDRIX COLLEGE, a junior forward
from Fort Collins, Colo., has been selected as the SCAC Field
Hockey Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played Monday,
September 5 through Sunday, September 11.
Rappe’ scored three goals and had two
assists in three games this week, helping the Warriors to the first
4-0 start in program history. Rappe’ scored
the first goal in Hendrix’ 2-1 overtime victory at Eastern
Mennonite on Thursday night. She assisted the tying goal in a 2-1
victory at Bridgewater.
On Sunday, Rappe’ scored twice and had an
assist in the Warriors’ 7-0 pounding of Sweet Briar at the
Mapp Invitational in Virginia.
