BLAINE TEW OF AUSTIN
COLLEGE, a junior right handed pitcher from
Denison, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Baseball
Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Saturday, February 10th
through Sunday, February 16th.
Tew picked up his first win of the
season and gave the 'Roos their first win of the season in a
non-conference game against Schreiner.
Tew pitched a gem, taking a no-hitter
into the sixth inning. He finished his day pitching 8.1 innings
with just one run allowed on three hits to earn the 5-1 victory
over the Mountaineers.
